Spring & Fall Service

What We Do During a Seasonal Cleanup

A seasonal cleanup goes beyond a regular mowing visit. It's a top-to-bottom refresh of your property — clearing out what the previous season left behind and setting your yard up for the season ahead.

Spring Cleanup (February–April)

  • Remove winter debris, dead growth, and matted leaves
  • Cut back ornamental grasses and perennials
  • Edge all planting beds
  • Install fresh mulch in beds (mulch priced separately)
  • Light shrub shaping to remove winter damage

Fall Cleanup (October–December)

  • Full leaf removal and haul-away
  • Final bed cleanup before dormancy
  • Cut back annuals and spent perennials
  • Mulch installation to protect beds through winter
  • Final shrub trim before cold weather
Our Process

Our Seasonal Cleanup Process

1

Property Walk

We walk the full property with you (or do a solo assessment) to identify all cleanup areas, note any mulch or trimming needs, and confirm the scope before starting.

2

Debris & Leaf Removal

All leaves, dead growth, and accumulated debris cleared from lawn areas and beds. Bagged and removed from your property — we don't leave it at the curb unless requested.

3

Edging & Mulch

All planting beds re-edged for clean lines. Mulch installed if included in the service scope.

4

Trim & Final Blow

Shrubs and ornamentals shaped. Full blowdown of all hard surfaces. Property walked before we leave.

Atlanta's Seasons

Why Seasonal Cleanups Matter for Atlanta Lawns

Atlanta has one of the most beautiful tree canopies of any major US city — and that means leaf season is serious. Oak, sweetgum, maple, and pine all contribute to heavy leaf fall from October through December. Leaves left on lawns smother grass, block light, and trap moisture that promotes fungal disease.

On the spring side, Atlanta's fast warm-up means early cleanup timing is critical. Dormant grass debris left too long can mat and prevent the lawn from greening up properly. Getting ahead of it in February or March sets the whole season up for success.

🍂 Atlanta leaf season tip: We recommend at least two fall cleanup visits for tree-heavy properties — one in late October/early November and a final cleanup in December after the late-dropping oaks are done.

Pricing

Seasonal Cleanup Pricing

Cleanup pricing is based on property size, the amount of debris present, and what additional services are included (mulch installation, shrub trimming, etc.). We'll quote the full scope before starting so there are no surprises.

Bundling a spring or fall cleanup with aeration or fertilization on the same visit gives you a meaningful discount on labor and is one of the most popular combinations we offer Atlanta customers.
